She felt her face flush even more at the first contact. That eagerness on his part sure was present, and she could clearly feel it even in the way he kissed her. Ange just tried her hardest to tell herself that this was just necessary, that it was just for the pact, so he could be under her control instead of those witches' if it would ever be needed, but.. even she couldn't fool herself right now. Not when it just felt so good to be kissing him, to be this close to him, the man she loved.

Even when he deepened the kiss she didn't protest, instead she slowly but surely got over her embarassment temporarily and kissed him back practically just as eagerly. She recalled those things that Battler had tried to tell her while he had been chasing her, talking about how Amakusa actually just hated her, how he had always thought she was just a brat and was sick and tired of doing things for her, but with this moment she fiercely tried to shove those out of her mind. He was right here with her now, and just from his touch and kiss she could feel he loved her, of course everything that imitation had said had all been lies, not worth of a second thought.

Ange wiggled her arms loose from his hold for a moment, just so she could move up her own hands to put them on the side of his head as she kissed him.
