When he came closer to her, she already didn't have time - or energy - to stand up anymore, not this quickly. Instead she at least rolled her back, so she would be able to face him while lying down like that. It was a decision she started to regret instantly though, considering she had to stare up to that expression on the wolf's face, like it just wanted to see blood, and feel the blood slowly dripping down on her as well. Then.. after everything, it was going to end like this? They made it through everything else, but now she was going to die here, killed by her own bodyguard, her own furniture, her own lover? Would she be slashed up and chomped on like Battler or those goats, like she was nothing to him, just like they had been nothing but enemies to him?
... But even so.. the thought of being torn apart like that didn't compare to the pain she was feeling now, the pain of having to see him like this. This wasn't like Amakusa at all, he had never been so bloodthirsty, never so inhuman. "Amakusa.. Stop, please.." Her voice now seriously started to shake heavily, and she could feel tears starting to well up in her eyes again. Except this time she couldn't even blink them back or try to force them down. She didn't even care about keeping up any sort of strong front right now, instead letting them roll down her cheeks as she stared up at him still, her heart in the clutches of fear and despair.
When he brought up his claw, she knew it would be over. All he had to do was move it down and she'd be gone with one well-aimed slash, and then.. what would happen then? He would tear her apart too and have to live as a wolf like that forever, constantly in bloodlust and always all alone? She didn't want that for him either, so maybe she just had to remind him. Remind him that he wasn't a wolf, not some wild beast, but that the human who had spent so much time with her was him as well.
That's right, the guy who had always been grinning and laughing, completely having fun over the smallest of things like driving the car and listening to jazz music, who constantly teased and annoyed her on purpose but who, even so, had always been by her side and had become the man she loved more than anything.
"Stop.." That's right, to remind him of the person he once was.. what would be a better way than to just use that name, the one she had never used before? "Stop, Juuza!" Ange seriously felt out of breath now, her chest moving up and down as she still tried to get some air in her system. The tears didn't stop coming either.
And.. well, if she was going to die here either way..
Ange slowly reached up her hands to the wolf's face, apparently not even caring about all the blood or the sharp teeth by now - they didn't mean much compared to the idea she might be dead in another moment, either way. "Or at least.. let me first tell you t-that.. I love you." She managed to weakly put said hands on the side of his face, letting out a slight sob-like sound. "No matter what."
