Why hadn't that witch said anything, anything at all-- even some vague indication of what was about to happen if there really was something like that about to happen would have been okay, so why did she once again have to make her all paranoid because she didn't say anything more specific? Was she saying Amakusa would suddenly snap again at one point or another, that he would turn into his wolf form again with that same bloodlust as last time and that he would really physicially hurt her this time?
Ange couldn't even say anything, not even when they found themselves back in a more familiar place. The witch had kept her promise and sent them back to a happy fragment, happier than the one the came from, one where they could apparently just stay together, but.. was that just so the witch could watch from somewhere how he would hurt her? Her chest felt tight with the anxiety and paranoia. She still loved the man, of course she did. More than anything she wanted to stay with him and become happy together, but.. was that really possible now? Had Bernkastel been right about what she had said?
She was so caught up in her thoughts that she didn't even move from where she was standing the moment they appeared there, nor did she say anything - she just quietly stared in front of her into the distance, trying to get herself a bit more composed again but it was difficult.
