There was slight surprise at the sudden voice in her head, considering she didn't exactly expect Amakusa to be able to talk, just based on the fact that he hadn't yet. It was so obvious that he was exactly the kind of guy who would hide it, and yet she hadn't even considered it, and.. that was enough to make her feel a little embarassed, but she quickly covered up the embarassment with annoyance instead.

"You could talk all along..?" She was talking out loud though, since it didn't really matter here whether she communicated with him in her head or out loud, not in the way it had mattered back in school with the other stakes.
