[She stirred in her sleep, groaning and not wanting to have to deal with the light that was streaming through the window, brightening up the room. Akazawa tugged the covers up more, trying to shelter herself from the cold she felt (due to the fact that her clothes were thrown about the room). Slowly she opened her eyes, and she turned to look beside her....

....Oh right. She did that with Natsuno last night. The memories made her face flush- but she soon shook her head and got rid of such flustered thoughts. She sat up, and luckily she noticed her white school top had been tossed on the bedpost. She reached out and grabbed it- putting it on and butting it up halfway, covering most things at least.

She turned to the boy beside her, flicking his forehead.]

Wake up. [she was so tender and loving, right?]

[ Hey, this isn't the point where you confirm he's an idiot, okay!! It's a good thing Natsuno has total apathy towards most things, so he's able to just shrug it off. Even the fact that she's making him walk way behind her in the rain - while she has the umbrella, so he's just getting soaked here - doesn't seem to faze him much. He's too busy trying to get used to the surroundings either way, and also making sure nothing is coming that could potentially harm her. Thank god for heightened senses, they really help with that sort of thing. It means he can walk casually while still keeping a figural eye on everything.

So he just follows a little bit behind her, until they can see the school building in the distance. That does draw his attention, since.. this is the place where that curse or whatever originated, right? He's still not fully sure it's really a curse and not just something caused by Shiki or something of the like, so he's definitely keeping an eye on that. 8| Stupid other supernatural creatures.

A sigh. ]

So, from this moment on I'm supposed to not know you, right, Akazawa-san? [ they're at least still not too close to the building, so he can say this.. and yes, that last part was almost somewhat teasing, even if it's said casually. ]

... No, that doesn't sound right. I'll keep it at just Akazawa.

[Akazawa-san.....? She rolls her eyes at that, but it's good that he's behind her so he can't see that. Honestly, this might be... harder than she thought. She'll probably want to go to him and talk with him casually, but she'll have to treat him like any other student- he'll soon see more of her cold stare and harsh words.]

Yeah, keep it as Akazawa. It just sounds weird when you add those honorifics to my name. However, since you hate your first name so much I'll have to call you Yuuki-kun forever, hm?

[she looks back at him, glancing over her shoulder and there's a slight smile to her expression.]

[ Can you really treat your very own puppy harshly, Akazawa.. can you..?! ]

Yeah. [ He just answers in his usual complete apathy, nodding a little at her glance back before staring at the ground and kicking at a tiny rock. ]

I don't want anyone calling me by my first name, not even you. If anyone in that place does it I'll just ignore them until they learn to use my last name instead.

[YES SHE CAN!!!]

Hah- you'll ignore people your first day...? And don't worry, I don't think anyone will call you by your first name.

[And they're at the school. Akazawa walks in and goes to her locker, opening it up. She removes her shoes and puts the in there, and then grabs that different footwear.

She reaches above the lockers and finds a spare set, she tosses those shoes at him.]

C'mon, we're already late enough as it is.

[ WOOOOOOOOW RUDE!! ]

What's wrong with ignoring them on my first day? It's not like I came here to make friends. [ just came here to watch over Akazawa awww yeah bodyguard puppy.

Meanwhile he's working on taking his awful pink sneakers off as well and shoving them into a spare locker he found. If they are gone by the end of the day he knows he has to blame you for destroying his shoes, Akazawa. :| But yes, putting on the spare set.. ]

And if you're late either way, what do the few extra minutes matter? I'm sure they'll already be surprised enough to find out you of all people are late.

[....Stares at the pink sneakers... ugh, she really needs to take him shopping one of these days.]

Yeah.... it's already a surprise if I'm absent for a day, and now I'll be late. Pretty soon I'll turn into some school drop out.

[And she places a hand on her hips, looking away from him.]

...Did I ever tell you I might go to a school in Tokyo? I kind of... wanted to live on my own too.

[ you can never get rid of the pink sneakers. ]

... Tokyo? [ He can't help but pause at that for a moment. He's still staring at her, even if she's looking away, but.. that was always his dream too, right? Get out of town and into a big city, go to a university, and preferably Tokyo's.. and then hers is the same, the girl he loves' dream is.. the same as his, even if he already ruined his own chance at it? ]

I was actually planning to go there. [ at least he admits it, even if his voice is a little more quiet - not by a lot, though. ] Before.. well, you know. I sort of lost the opportunity.

[..She'd like for him to come live with her, actually. And when he says he had been planning to go there too, she glances back at him. What lost opportunity? He could still go.... he would be a Shiki in a big city, but... she'd let him drink some of her blood if he ever needed it.]

No one's stopping you from going again, you know.

[and then she turns and starts to walk away, heading to the classroom.]

[ No one's stopping him.. yeah, that's true. He's the one stopping himself. Because he should be dead rather than alive, being what he is. Because what Tatsumi said is true - no one would accept him.

And yet, this girl..

He drops the topic, lost in his thoughts until they're near the classroom. That's when he speaks up again. ]

I actually am sort of curious as to the look on their faces when they see you're this late.

[Ugh. She is so going to get in trouble for being this late, really. When he makes a comment like that, she stop right outside the door and turns to glare at him.

And then she takes a deep breath and slides the door open. All eyes on her of course... and Mikami-sensei is talking about something, but now Akazawa walks in, telling her to give her a second.]

Everyone, I have an announcement to make. It seems that.... the principal just informed me we have an ex-..... another student coming into the classroom, only for a little bit though. He's an foreign exchange student.

[get over here and introduce yourself ho.]

[ ... right, this is the part where he introduces himself, but.. god, he hates doing that. He hates being in the spotlight, having everyone look at him, it's so annoying..

Okay, let's just get it done and over with quicly. He's just sauntering into the classroom, standing in front of it, hands in the pockets of his pants and all. ]

... Natsuno Yuuki. [ TOTALLY AN ACCEPTABLE INTRODUCTION, RIGHT? :D See, he's already nodding to the class, as if he's done.. ]

[oh my god. She quickly turns her attention to him, frowning so hard, glaring as well. And then she just huffs and turns back to the class.]

Any problems?

[there are probably a lot, the students mostly just look bewildered.... and since a lot of students are absent now since they tried to flee, there's a few empty desks. She walks over to her desk, taking her seat and then proceeds to get her notebook and pencil out.

go find a seat loser.]

[ WHY ARE YOU GLARING AT HIM, WOMAN. He's just standing there with the kind of look that says 'what did I do..' Completely innocent and all that.

But yes, he's just.. staring around the class, really, he's wondering where sitting around would be the least bothersome.. oh, wait, there's a desk free almost right behind Akazawa, hehehe. CHOICE MADE.

He casually saunters over and flops down on the seat at said desk. Problem?! ]

[Well, it's a good thing Takako sits behind her, she can just ignore Natsuno for now. Akazawa clicks her tongue and proceeds to take notes that were up on the board that she missed.

....Aaaand it's lunchtime. All the students are crowding around Natsuno and asking him random questions like where he's from and wondering about his foreign status.

Akazawa is just talking with Takako, and occasionally glancing over at Natsuno....!!]

[ WOOOW RUDE ignoring him for Takako, he sees how it is!! (Even if that was the plan to begin with, yes..) He just mostly stares out of the window and is just.. bored since he's not paying attention to class at all.

Even during lunchtime he seems fairly apathic towards all the people asking him questions, but he answers in his bored tone all the same.

OH-- there's one girl being pretty giggly while talking to him though.. You know, the kind of cute-guy-must-make-good-impression-giggly.. will you just allow this to happen, Akazawa. n_n ]

[Yeah... OOHHH YEAAAH GIRL! Akazawa sees that girl fawning over Natsuno- and she stops mid conversation with Takako to look over at them.

She huffs and goes back to talking with her friend- SHE'S STAYING STRONG.]

[ GOOD JOB, AKAZAWA.. Natsuno looks completely disinterested in her either way. She of all people should be able to tell since she's one of the few people who has actually seen him at least a little more interested..

He can't help but occasionally glance over to where Akazawa is sitting though while he's chatting with the students, so someone is bound to notice eventually - and one of the students does. ]

Hey, you're sure looking at her a lot! [ oops.. ]

[....Ugh- she hears that comment and she bites her lip at that. She can't just let it show that it's bothering her, but Takako does question her about it. She just waves her hand and continues to go back chatting but...

Dammit- Natsuno is going to be in for an earful later, that quick glare she sends his way is enough of an indication of that.]

[ It's not like he can help it..!! He's just discarding the remark by saying he was just looking out of the window instead, clearly.

But at least he manages to deal with the students for the entire time during break, and by the time class starts he's back to his usual lazy self, even if he can still feel that glare from earlier hanging over his head. Geez, she'd probably nag at him later for something he can't even help..

But slowly the bell rings that indicates school is over for the day!! ]

[....Aaand she's quickly packing up her things, putting her notebook and everything into her bag and quickly putting the strap over her shoulder. She was... kind of annoyed at him, the first day went pretty well but- they were going to blow their cover if he kept looking over at her like that.

At least no one questioned her when she chose to glare at certain students.

So Akazawa gets up, quickly hurrying out of the classroom, stomping down the stairs, and taking off her shoes to put on her regular footwear from her locker. She does so all with a huff here and there, of course.]

[ She's leaving so quickly.. Aaah, what a bother, she's going to be mad at him for sure over virtually nothing. At least he doesn't want to aggravate her further, so he doesn't go after her as quickly, instead slowly and casually sauntering out of the classroom once most students are already leaving either way, and he lingers in the hallway right before the shoe lockers for a while as he waits until all other students have left before he enters, glancing at her. ]

... Hey. [ SO CASUALLY. As if nothing happened in all these hours. ]

[....Ugh. She has her knows on now and she shoves her school shoes in her locker, practically slamming her locker door shut and then grabbing her bag, walking away from him.

YEAAAHH SHE'S SO NOT TALKING TO YOU UNTIL LATER. She refuses to even talk to him within the school grounds. But she does shoot a look over her shoulder, indicating for him to follow him. Such a dog should understand that much, right>]

[ Why does he bother to deal with this girl, why. Walking away from him all angrily, yet looking like she wants him to follow her.. Yeah, he really can't help but wonder why he bothers, but deep inside he already knows the answer. It's since he cares for her, because he loves her.

... That he just had to fall for a girl like this..

Natsuno shrugs to himself, slipping his own shoes before following her a little faster now - there's still the danger of her being killed anytime, so he'd like to at least be in a position where he could still interfere if he saw anything coming. But yes, just walking after her, he's an obedient puppy, okay. ]

[And they're just walking down the street now, not saying a word and not even walking near him until they've reached her house. They're back there again and she opens the door, kicking off her shoes, putting the umbrella back in it's place and she walks in. The door has been left open for him though, of course.

...Except, when she walks in a few steps, she turns around and has her arms crossed, waiting for him and wanting to yell at hi properly.]

Yuuki-kun. [she started, a harsh tone, if anything.] Do you want our cover to be blown?

[ Oh, now she wants to talk, huh? Although.. He's not really feeling like being lectured (although what he's about to do will just make it worse, but at least that will be worth it) so he decides to follow her rules extra carefully. They're not supposed to know each other, right? n_n Yeah, not knowing each other or interacting at all, so.. he's just standing there idly, casually, not even saying anything. At first he actually looks at her, but then he just idly looks around him..

Yes, he's being a jerk on purpose since you were too before, Akazawa..!! ]
