TOO MANY SHIPS

[There they were, sitting on the couch and watching the movie that Battler had put in for the two of them. Turns out it had started raining while Kotomi had been over, and they settled on watching something like this and just eating snacks together. Every so often Battler would glance over at her, able to mull over certain things as the movie continued to play....

Good thing this wasn't a scary movie, he had put in a comedy since Kotomi seems to like those kinds of things, after all.]

Ah! Here's my favorite part!

[And he reaches over to grab another chip from the bag, omnomnom.]

[ ... Huh...

It's weird. She doesn't even fully understand what's going on, it takes a few moments for her brain to register any of it. All she knows is that Battler's right there, close to her, close to her face, and then even making their lips touch, and it feels.. sort of nice..

Didn't she read this in a book before? Maybe sometime.. She has to blink a few times though, and she doesn't fully get it even when he pulls away. ]

Battler-kun..? [ wait, wasn't it called-- ] ... Was that.. a kiss?

[...Eeehh.... she doesn't even know about something like a kiss? But, whatever- he knows that she's lived a pretty sheltered life. He nods.]

It was... um... was that wrong? [to do that so suddenly, he means... and he wonders if she even liked it. He sure did.]

[ Another pause, but she shakes her head - and at least she seems settled on that. ]

It wasn't wrong at all.. I.. I thought it was a little nice. No, more than a little nice, Battler-kun kissing me like that..

It was very warm. [ blushing!! ]

[Oh god he can't stop blushing too- WHAT IS THIS! B-but uh... he must be strong! Yes! Battler fidgets a bit, but then he moves in closer to her yet again, pressing his lips to her once more. Yeah, it was warm- and she was so soft against him...

Hopefully she'll understand it better this time around.]

[ She understands it a little bit.. just a little. Enough that instead of just sitting there like some sort of statue she kisses him back, just a little.. just very slowly, as if she's still trying it. It's nice, though, just like the previous time, and it's something she wouldn't mind doing again, she knows that much. ]

[They'll probably read a bunch of romance novels after this huh....

Battler brings a hand up to her face, touching her cheek as he continued to kiss her, happy that she's at least able to kiss him back. He was really nervous about confessing to her earlier, but he's glad that he did. Who would have known that rain would bring them closer together?]

[ All of the romance novels. And then re-enact the scenes in them.

Ah, it's still all so strange to her, she hardly knows how to do any of this. She's mostly just trying to mimick him, but even so it's difficult.. she'll have to read more books about it for sure, she has to live up to him, after all. Since he's the person she likes more than anything..

After a few moments she pulls away just a little. ]

Battler can't help but smile, really. He feels like that grin has been permanently put on his face, he never thought he'd be able to finally do something like this with Kotomi.

But he nods, whispering when he speaks.] Perfect... it was... it was just perfect, Kotomi-chan.

[ .. is that the one with the gallopping abs..

And she's smiling a little too. It's blankly, since that's what all her smiles are like, but in her own way she seems pretty happy to hear that answer. ]

Perfect..? Even though I haven't tried anything like it before, Battler-kun thinks it's perfect already..?

But.. there's still so much I have to learn about all of this. And Battler-kun already knows a lot more than me, so I'll have to hurry up and learn a lot quickly so I won't disappoint him..
