Amakusa wanted to cry himself, but he wouldn't allow that kind of weakness in front of her- he had to be strong, he had to keep on trying to protect his master. Even though he had been the one to inflict pain upon her, even if it was in the form of intense fear, he wanted to keep on holding her and telling her it was okay.
"I'm not going anywhere..." as he said this, he moved back a bit so he was kneeling down- still slightly over top of her. He had grabbed her arms and pulled her up with him, into a sitting position at least. He was looking at her, just seeing what was in her expression- if there was any indication in her eyes that she was still afraid of him.
He reached out to her, placing a hand on the side of her cheek, his thumb gently stroking her. They were still covered in blood- him especially, but he hardly cared... he just wanted to be here with her.
