7am wakin' up in the mornin'

Amakusa had a plan.

It was a daring plan, but it was a plan nonetheless. It had been a few days since that time they had to show their love to the witches and overcome a trial. It had actually been.. really nice, just being around Ange and looking after her like he had before- but now he didn't have the weight of the witches to think about. They were gone, he had suspected maybe they checked up on them once in a while to see if he was becoming this beast again. He wouldn't do such a thing again, so he had to make sure this plan went off without a hitch.

"Lady," Amakusa called out to her as he came storming into the kitchen. It was a good thing Ange had shooed away all the other servants so it could just be them for a few days, maybe she didn't trust yet but- they had the whole mansion to themselves.

"I have a plan, and of course- since it's a plan thought up by me it's flawless."

At first there was a slight moment of surprise as he suddenly said that. It was still a little embarassing to hear him calling her like that, without the honorific he had always used, but now he was saying something that corny.. The corniness of it all was definitely embarassing, but that wasn't the only reason why her cheeks started to flush a little. It was also because the man she loved was telling her this, the person she wanted to stick with forever even if everyone else had abandoned her long ago.

"I--" Ange just stammered a little at first as she tried to find words throughout how flustered she was, but she quickly shook her head to herself a little to make herself speak on. "I wouldn't want it to be like that either way.. only as a servant to a master, that is." Thinking of this man as just her servant, her furniture, almost a possession of hers.. no, she definitely couldn't do that since she truly loved him. "I'll.. love you forever. No matter what." Hadn't she already proved that much when she had told him the same even when he had been hovering over her, holding out his claw as if to strike?

She lowered her eyes a little as if avoiding his gaze a little now and spoke on. "So please don't say something like 'no matter what will happen'.. You said Bernkastel was just lying, so.. We were going to believe in that, right?" It was gradually already becoming slightly easier to let him see this side of her, more emotional and loving and vulnerable, but it was still difficult enough to leave the blush on her face constantly.

It did make her feel better. After all, she trusted him, especially on a topic like this since he was the one who would know most about his own powers, his own behaviour, his own control over everything, not to mention that he knew a lot about Bernkastel too from serving the witches of the senate before this, so Ange figured he would definitely know whether what Bernkastel said was true or not. The possibility that he was worried too but just lying to make her feel better didn't quite skip her mind, though.

Ange had already closed her eyes as if she was ready to nap already (she did feel a little tired by now, and the warmth coming from him only helped that), apparently for once not minding that she was this close to him. She tugged on the sheets a little to cover them more before just lying still on her side next to him.

"Then.. it's alright, isn't it?" If Bernkastel was lying, there was nothing bad that could happen as long as they were together, as long as he was by her side.. they could just live happily here, right? "There's nothing to worry about anymore." Her voice wasn't much more than a mumble by now.
